To The City of My Dreams

The week before last week is the best week of my life! I went to Liverpool--the so-called city of the Beatles, my favorite band ever! I went there on a trip by one of the campus' club... Didn't work out as I imagined it would be, but doesn't matter... It's Liverpool!!!

Wow! this is history, me in Liverpool. Never thought it would happen (well, I kept on repeating to myself that someday I'll defintely go there...and there I was!). The city was big, bigger than Leeds obviously, and colder too--since it's located by the ocean. The wind was so strong, I can't help myself from chilling. Luckily, the weather was perfect that day, so I have no time for regrets!

We went to The Albert Dock, where The Beatles Story, the museum of The Beatles is located. My heart thumped real hard as I approach this building. This is definitely one of that moments in your life, when you actually thinking that dreams DO come true!

It was so amazing! I am lucky God gave me the chance to visit the birth-town of my favorite band of whole time. (Thank you God!). We then went inside. There, they lent you earphone-set with beatles' story in it, so as you walk along way inside their museum you can hear their story! They gave numbers on each item displayed, so you just have to pick the number and listen.

I was there with my friends, one is Rizkie my Indonesian friend and Beth, my Phlipino friend. We met two nice girls at the tour, one is a Japanese, Kasumi, and the other is Chinese, Han.

It was fun... we saw a whole lot of Beatles' stuff there..amazing!

And so the story continues...

The museum also have displays of each of the solo career of the personel. I was so excited! But I enjoy them more while they were still in the band.

After the museum, we went out to Liverpool one (name of a mall there) and saw some pretty buildings along the way

we had lunch here...

some guy with his girlfriend posing to me at an escalator on Liverpool one. His girlfriend covered her face :D

We saw Liverpool wheel on our way but didn't get up. We went inside the new Liverpool Museum, but had no idea what the museum about (?) and went by the dock and took some picture. There was a statue there, some guy looked like Elvis, but he's not.

So, that was my story in the greatest city of my dreams!

How to Ghibli?

That time of the year, again. Why can't life be more like Ghibli's aesthetics? It has been a while for me to be in my 30s, and soon I will be turning 40. What will one expect when one turns into a 40-year-old woman?  Why can't life be like Ghibli's slice of life feature films? Why can't we find ideal love like in those movies? 3 years ago today I still can't imagine that I finally found out that my (back then) spouse was a serial cheater, a swinger, and an avid liar. My whole life was crumbled, and my mind went crazy, like literally mad (will tell this someday when I'm ready). And briefly after that, I met a random guy, got married again in such a short time, and have a baby not long after. Back then, no one really cares about how I feel inside, my messed up mind is still there up until now. So, what to do? #16: Infatuation

Day 16 of 30 days writing challenge Infatuation Ten minutes to midnight and I almost forgot today's writing challenge. Supposed to be about someone I miss, but I don't really know how to deal with distant short-lived feelings.  Wind Once obsessed I was, Like a wind arose  Out of the blue, Hell, should I drown in my thoughts? Of something I nearly forgot? It was only a brief, belittle by wrongly  Lay a trust While nonetheless  There's nothing but a gust Of wind drifted by Of my tears, Of my fears, Of what wishful thinking, it was Live and let live, And let the wind blows your sadness away, 'Coz anything is everything, while everything is nothing. We are, nothing.

#11: Siblings

Day 11 of 30 days writing challenge. Siblings You either love 'em unconditionally or hate them occasionally . They share the same blood as you, they're your first friends. And it's not uncommon that you spent your days fighting and quarrelling with them at day and get along again at night. Your parents still mad at you but you already reconciliate with them. A brother and a sister As a middle child, I always stuck in between. My brother and my sister both have strong personalities. When they're fighting it's like a fierceful battle between Dragon Slaying Sabre VS Heavenly Sword --minus maybe they're both a bit antagonistic , none really chivalry. Brother My big bro is an amazing abstract learner. Why I said "abstract"? It's because he never did enjoy the typical learning practices in formal education. But when we're younger, different methods weren't there for children with superb or different qualities. Anyways, he's an avid lear...
