To Travel means to Suffer

I once read on one of my transport studies literature that 'to travel' means 'to suffer'. That's why some of the experts on this field said that travel is a derived demand, you don't travel for the sake of the travel itself, which means it is something you do in order to get to another accomplishment at the end of the journey. Well, the statement is debatable (even until now they're still arguing about this), whether travel itself could be by its own sake or not. Since being a tourist means you enjoy every single journey you take, then you must say that it's obviously not derived. Nevertheless, there are still times when you feel lost between one spot to another, that you don't actually get why are you there. That's when the derived demand theory works. You can't simply said that you 'enjoyed' every single part of your journey. Th...

Autumn has comin' to town!

My very first autumn! Never felt four-season before...and here I am experiencing it for the very first time! and I'm about 12,000 km away from home... Really miss home. But it's not that long, only a year, and maybe someday i'll be missing this place and (maybe) the people... and this is actually what i've been dreaming of since I was a child. I even can say, this is my dream-land. (But sometimes dreams weren't as REAL as reality). And perhaps the place I cursed now would be the place that I'll definitely called "paradise" (?) in imperfect world of mine. atleast my dream just came true! i was in liverpool! finally!! And I just knew that they have this winter time period (as British Summer Time ends) on October 30, they set back the time one hour. Not only the British set the point zero of the world's time, they also can set back time! Amazing. So, each year on October 30 they have 25 hours on a day... but on latter time on March, as the BST star...
