This opening picture is from a Romeo-Juliet kinda movie of the 70s, "Love Story", one of my dad's fave.
I've always wondered how is it like to be lived on the 60s or 70s.. Life seemed simpler back then. And since the consequences of the western's industrialisation hadn't been there yet at that time, then I guess there still no pollution, or melted ice on North and South Poles, and my country was still somehow more rural in every way. I'm not quite sure though, would I survive without blackberry, notebook, and internet? I didn't remember how I got addicted in the first place!!!!
I'm in love with the oldies... And sometimes I felt that I'm stuck in those days...
I love old movies,
I love old songs,
But I don't wear vintage clothes though.
Yesterday, I went to a temporary exhibition in Leeds City Museum, displaying a lot of stuff from the 70s. I even try to do some cosplay there...with wig! lol

The 70s are the era of my folks. Somehow they could made through without pots and LSD... (maybe those stuff are expensive in my country, and my folks are good kids... I'm a good kid too...a nerd, but I stopped studying hard since undergrad--somehow the subjects I got into are not that interesting :p)
Anyway, you can always tell it's 70s from the wallpaper thingy
See..., it's sooo 70s!!
the typical 70s bedroom (not so typical in my country though)
I love the colours, I love the pattern, and I love the hype!
typical 70s kitchen. Gotta looove that retro style! Pastel is totally 70s!
Even the cupboard looks cute! Still got one of these in my grandma's house... But I think that one needs restoration (it's nearly broken into pieces).
A rattan hanging-chair, one of my dreamy things!
The family room, with rounded-screen tv and sofa... I bet the tv wasn't that big at that time!
I wonder, will they do an exhibition of the 60s too? It's my fave era--since I'm in love with the icon of that era, The Beatles.
